Wow! What a fantastic and easy to use headset. My clients loved using virtual reality and it helped keep them entertained when they were in the shop.

This is a really great product! Welcome to the future:)

  3. VR Buff

I love the Zeiss headset. I have used the Samsung Gear VR headset and this one is actually much easier to use in comparison. It is easier to put on people’s heads and is easier to select and start a video.

Upon lifting the VR One out of the box, I was struck by its excellent build quality. This is a solid headset – there isn’t a flimsy piece of construction in sight – with a strong monochrome design.

This is a great VR headset. I’ve tried Oculus DK2 (a different animal as it’s for a PC and not a retail product yet), Cardboard (throwaway and without straps for extended viewing or using with a game controller), Gear VR (heavy, lens fog problem, small sweet spot – image not as sharp to its edges, tied to a smaller Samsung/Oculus app catalog, no upgrade path for future phones) as well as a few others like Homido and Archos (poor optics, cheap construction). I use this with an S5 phone which looks really good with its 1080p OLED screen. The ergonomics are great. It’s comfortable, I can wear with glasses and it requires no diopter adjustment. Never had a lens fogging problem. The optics are better than the rest with large lenses and a large sweet spot giving you a clear image from the center to edges. If you want an affordable VR headset, this is the way to go.
